Celeste Giuliano’s Pinups in 3-D Hardback Book Continuing the tradition of creating the next level of breathtaking pin-up girls in the modern world, internationally acclaimed photographer and pin-up artist Celeste Giuliano presents her classic style of pin-ups in stunning 3-D for the first time ever in Celeste Guliano's Pin-ups in 3-D.. The pin-up girl has been a staple of classic American culture since the 1920s. Featured in advertisements and novelty items, their coy smiles and flirtatious ways captivated millions while selling everything from colas to cars. During the 1950s, a whole new dimension of tease gained popularity once these timeless beauties were presented in 3-D. This book features all new 3-D anaglyphic images of the classic girl next door that tease both on and off the pages in breathtaking realism. Each book comes with a pair of "Cu-Tease 3-D glasses" to view the images in "3-D Cutie-Vue". Celeste Giuliano is an internationally acclaimed photographer whose attention to detail, technique, and authenticity have given her a worldwide audience that embraces her as a modern-day pioneer in pin-up photography. "I highly recommend this book for 3-D collectors," said 3-D Review Online Magazine editor Van Beydler. "The 3-D photos harken back to a more nostalgic time when pinup art by artists such as Elvgren was painting fun and risque for the time images of lovely ladies. Giuliano has captured this style with photography and some of the images have that painted quality. Two of my favorite 3-D photos happen to be back to back in the book featuring the same model. One of them is a portrait of the model in a beautiful blue dress and the second image is a full body shot of her stepping out of an ornate picture frame. There are many more excellent images to enjoy in the book as well." The book features all anaglyphic 3-D images and
comes with a set of red/blue 3-D anaglyphic glasses
bound inside the back. The cover art is playful
a lenticular flicker image that shows the pinup
model winking as her hips move back and forth
and her hand raises above the books' title. Two
other items also flicker on the cover art. The book retails for $34.99 and is available online direct from the publisher, Schiffer Books. Size: 7" x 10" | 96 color images |

View-Master® Super Sketch Projector (1996) In 1996, TYCO released a View-Master® Super Sketch Projector on the market. The projector used specially produced View-Master® reels that could be mounted in the overhead projector so children could draw by tracing the images. Of course, the images were not 3-D but it would have been an interesting concept to have stereoscopic drawings that could have been traced. |

The Room, the "Citizen Kane of bad movies" may get a 3-D treatment according to it's director Tommy Wiseau. Originally released theatrically in 2003, The Room has become one of those midnight movies like The Rocky Horror Picture Show that draws audiences because it's so bad it's good. The film is receiving more traction because it is also the subject of James Franco's 2017 film The Disaster Artist that follows the story of how the film was made after Greg Sestero, an aspiring film actor, met the weird and mysterious Tommy Wiseau in an acting class. They formed a unique friendship and traveled to Hollywood to make their dreams come true. |

33 World War II Naval Aviation Training View-Master® Reels sold for $128.07 with 12 bids. The sale also included 40 extra sleeves. A seller is asking for a whopping $5,000 + $250 shipping for a 48" View-Master® enamel and metal sign. Several years ago, a cache of several of these signs was found still boxed in their original wooden shipping crates in an attic above a closed photography store in St. Louis. Those signs, pictured above, were offered for only a few hundred dollars each at the time. |
