Welcome
to Joy in the Dance Farms. We are a family run farm and raise a variety
of breeds. We start our training as soon as the foal is born and
therefore, always have well mannered, gentle foals that will come right
up to you and have no fear of people. We do all our own training
using Natural horsemanship, following the lead of Pat Parelli and John
Lyons.
There is never a breaking period; as from
a young age we are placing small children on their backs and getting them
used to the feel of a rider. When it comes time to begin lessons
in riding I just walk up to them in the pasture and get on. We don't
have problems with kicking, biting, or other vices because as babies they
learn that is against the rules.
You turned my mourning into dancing; you have removed
my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and
not be silent. Oh Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever. Psalms 30:11-12
