New Zealand Sling Overview

A brief overview from New Zealand collector Alan Culhane

One thing you may find of interest is that I was issued a 1942 made Lee Enfield sling for my SLR when I was in the army in 1982We also had US made web Garand slings for M16sI assume that WW1 slings were issued in WW2 as I know that WW1 rifles were extensively used by the NZ 2nd and 3rd divisions in North Africa , Italy and the Solomons.
