German KKW Trainer Sling

This is a rare original German WWII KKW 22 trainer sling. It is similar to the standard WWII sling except that it has a buckle slide instead of the friction keeper like the 98k sling and has only one hole at the end. The single hole is because the KKW stock has a metal stud in the stock. The sling end is slipped through the stock in the normal way, but the end is hook on the stud instead of the 98k-type key. The brown leather is supple and strong and shows some use. The body is lined at the edge as is proper for this rare item. Most KKW rifles are missing these slings. The 98K sling is not correct in this rifle.
