Australian/ British SMLE leather rifle sling for WW1 or WW2, Brisbane maker, near mint condition. This sling is marked with DD and a broad arrow, the official Australian government marking (not shown but same as sling at top of page). This sling may go with the 1908/14 pattern leather "webbing" equipment worn early in WW1 until re-equipped by the British, because Australia at that time did not have a webbing factory.
