The Newburg Hellbender Bicycle Race was held, with the
start and finish lines in Newburg, MO. The route was a
distance of about 35 miles, with some riders running one lap,
and others running two laps for a 70-mile race. A few
youngsters in the 10-14 year old group started halfway
through the 35-mile loop for a short run.

The weather was perfect for a race. It was sunny with
high temperatures in the middle 60s, and low humidity with
a slight breeze.
