CONCORD VILLAGE LIONS CLUB RECEIVES A HAYWOOD SNIPES AWARD

The CONCORD VILLAGE LIONS, of St. Louis, Missouri, receive their second HAYWOOD SNIPES AWARD. This award is given to Lions Clubs donating $10,000 to the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation. The money was raised by the Concord Lions Fish-For-Sight fishing tournament held annually at Truman Lake in western Missouri. The award was presented by Missouri's International Director, Lion Dwayne Garrett, DVM, to Lion Mike Rufkahr. Standing in for Lion Rufkahr is Lion Tom Renaud, recipient of the Club's first Haywood Snipes Award. Both are co-chairmen of the four member Fish-For-Sight Committee.
