HEARING AIDS NEEDED

The Hearing Committee reports that there is an urgent need for used hearing aids. Hearing aids collected by the Lions of Missouri and turned over to the District Hearing Chairman are forwarded to the Missouri School for the Deaf. There, the audiologist will repair, adjust and make those aids available to the children in need in the schools through out the state of Missouri. There is insufficient supply at this time to meet the need. The Hearing Committee will have a hearing aid collection container on their booth table at the Missouri Lions State Convention in Cape Girardeau. All Lions attending the convention are urged to bring hearing aids for this purpose.
