CONCORD VILLAGE LIONS CLUB SPONSORS TRAINING

The Concord Village Lions Club are sponsoring the first year of training of a guide dog for a visually impaired person. Susan Vorih, a volunteer, will donate her time, seven days a week (24-hours-a-day), as a puppy walker for one year. Sight Conservation Chairman Fred Phillips (left) presented the clubs check for $1500 to cover the total expense of training during this year to Susan. The Guide Dog Foundation For The Blind, Inc. breed and train Labrador and Golden Retriever that are furnished for this training. The fully trained dog will be donated to a visually handicapped person at no charge.
