MEMBERS OF THE NEWLY FORMED JEFFERSON CITY LEO CLUB on their float for the Christmas parade with Lion Rich Joseph, President of the sponsoring Jefferson City Host Club and Lion Pattie Suthoff, sponsor of the new Leo Club.

NEW LEO CLUB

The Jefferson City Leo Club was recently formed by the Jefferson City Host Lions Club. Eighteen young people between the ages of 12 and 14 comprise their membership.

An installation dinner was hosted by the Jefferson City Host Lions Club on November 20th. Regional Chairman Lion Ron Jordan was the Master of Ceremonies while District Governor Dan Bernskoetter welcomed the Leo members and their families and fellow Lions to the festivities. Lion B. W. Robinson, PID, installed the Officers and Directors.

The Jefferson City Leos have participated in the Spook Patrol and the gift wrapping booth at the Capital Mall, created a float for the Christmas parade and did Christmas caroling at St. Marys Health Center. The new club will hold its meetings at 4 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month at Pleus Hall in Jefferson City.
