MLERF will be hosting an open house Friday, May 2nd, from 8 am to 5 pm and on Sunday, May 4th, from 11 am to 2 pm. Lions will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the many sight restoring programs that their Foundation is involved in. There will be an eye tissue processing demonstration on Friday at 4 pm, and on Sunday beginning at 1 pm.

An eyeglass sorting demonstration will also be held throughout both days, allowing visitors to participate in the organization of the eyeglasses and learn what happens after the eyeglasses are collected and delivered to MLERF. Be sure to bring any used eyeglasses that your club may have collected, and take part in the eyeglass recycling program. Individuals bringing large shipments of eyeglasses are asked to drop them off at the rear of the building.

Don't forget to stop by the Foundation's booth at the Convention, where the glaucoma screening unit will be available, providing FREE glaucoma screens. Also, various literature and memorabilia will be available. Maps to the Foundation will be located at the convention booth.
