LCIF Helps The Joplin Association For The Blind

Financing - Dr. Dwayne Garrett, Lions International Director from Wentzville, presents a $75,000 check to Conrad Harper, District Governor of Lions International District 26E from Lamar. The $75,000 grant from the Lions Clubs International Foundation secured by Lions District 26E, will be used for a new building for the Joplin Association for the Blind.


Ground Breaking - District Governor Conrad Harper (center with cap) participates in the ground breaking ceremonies for a new building for the Institute for the Blind in Joplin MO. District 26-E secured a $75,000 grant from LCIF earlier in the year for the building. The new site will be Fourth and Schifferdecker Avenue in Joplin Mo.
