The Guest Speaker will be Past International Director Wayne Henderson. The event will be held at the
Sikeston Ramada Inn, just off I-55 at Exit 67. The Social period will commence at 6:00 pm, followed by

The Mexico Noon Lions Club will celebrate their 50th Anniversary and Installation of
Officers on Friday, June 6, 1997. The Guest Speaker will be PDG Bob Robideau and the Installing Officer
will be PDG E.B. Smith. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1« miles north of Mexico,
on Highway 15. The Social period will commence at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and the program. ----

Sight Fishing
Tournament -- Amateur Buddy Bass Tournament, Saturday, May 3, 1997. The tournament will
be
held at the Sterett Creek Marina on Truman Lake, 1st Flight 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. The entry fee
is $100 per boat, Big Bass Optional - $10 per boat. First Place - $10,000 Fully-rigged Nitro
w/Mercury Motor, Tailstar Trailer, Motorguide, and Humminbird Locator. All Proceeds to

The Lebanon Evening Lions 1st Annual Charity Open two person scramble will be held Saturday,
June 28, 1997 at the Lebanon Country Club on Highway 64 West in Lebanon MO. An entry fee of $110 per

Once again Marilyn Young is offering a trip to the International Convention through Commercial
Trust Company. Marilyn is offering a 10 day tour, June 27 - July 6, to Philadelphia. The cost of the tour is
somewhere between $875 to $995 depending upon the number going. Lion's Convention attendees may
deduct $220 but will be required to make their own reservations through Lions International for their stay in
Philadelphia. All rates are per person based on double occupancy. It may not be too late to take advantage
