Hearing Sweepstakes Update
The Missouri Lions Hearing Committee will offer its new improved Hearing Sweepstakes in 1997. In
addition to the $50 savings bond awarded at each District Convention, there will be sixteen prizes drawn for
at the State Convention in Columbia. There will be ten bonds at $500 each, five bonds at $1000 each and
one $5000 bond. There will be drawings for the smaller bonds at the Hearing Committee table on Friday
and Saturday, with the names being posted when they are drawn. The drawing for the $5000 bond will still
be at the Sunday morning business meeting.
Tickets will again be distributed to the clubs by the District Hearing Chairman as soon as possible after the
January committee meeting. Tickets are still $1.00 each or six for $5.00. Persons who would like to learn
more about the state hearing program or the operation of the hearing van should make plans to attend the
seminar at the State Convention sponsored by the State Hearing Committee.
