Paris Lions Club Officers Installation Banquet

A strange thing happened at the Paris Lions Club Installation of Officers Banquet, June 19, 1996. Lion Doris Myers (left), Region Chairman, of the Mexico (MO) Noon Lions Club was the installing officer who installed Lion Steve Jones (center) as President of the Paris Lions Club.

Every thing sounds normal so far, right? Well ten years ago in 1986 Lion Steve was also installed as President of the Paris Lions Club only this time he was installed by the then Zone Chairman, now Past District Governor, Bud Myers (right).

It is rather unique that a husband and wife installed the same person as President of a Lions Club.
