Christy (Aaron) Dalton & Richard
Dalton / dalton1[at]fidnet.com / Hi all! Here is the latest on my life.
Richard (class of '90) and I just celebrated our 12 year anniversary (and
happily we were together on that day--the Army was unknowingly kind enough to
give him r&r during that time period). We have
two wonderful children, Rebekah (10) and
Jeremy (6). We have built our house here in Rolla out on the "Aaron
Farm". I learned a lot with building houses since Richard was deployed
to Iraq
(where he will be until Feb. 2005) in the middle of the construction process.
I teach English at RJH and Richard still teaches up at Linn State
Technical College.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our next reunion! (updated

Milian / steven.milian[at]assurant.com
/ Gary and I
have been together for 15 years. We have 2 kids: Xander, born 2002, Zoe born
2004. Gary and I met at Mizzou, moved to Boston for a
couple of years and then back to Kansas
City in 1996. We are both managers at an
insurance company in Kansas City,
I manage an underwriting team and he manages a sales team. We both
changed our last names after adopting our son. We felt it was important
to have a family name so we took the last name of our son's birth
mother. This way we are adopting part of our children's culture (they
are Guatemalan) and we don't saddle them with a long hyphenated name! We
also have a biological daughter with a friend of ours who was tired of
waiting for the right man to come along and we are godfathers to 2 wonderful
kids of lesbian friends. So in all we have 5 kids that call us Daddy and
Papa! We are loving life and thoroughly enjoying fatherhood. (updated

on earth who's actually looking forward to their 50th

University's Fuqua
School of Business as the director of our Global MBA program. Our students
are senior executives from all over the world, so one perk is that I get to
travel spend a week in each of 6 different countries (2 in Europe, 2 in Asia,
and 2 in South America) each year to deliver portions of the program. Another
perk is that I work in the same building as David Ridley, so get to see him
and his family fairly often. While working, I'm also pursuing a doctorate in
Higher Education Administration at North
Carolina State University. In 2005, after 9 years of
mostly long-distance dating, I married Karin Kivioja.
We got married in her home town of Turku,
Finland
in an 800 year old cathedral. David Ridley and Mike Hachmeister
were among the guests in attendance, and Mike's dad flew over to play the
organ. Karin is a language teacher (Finnish, Swedish, German, and English),

off the old block. Been out here for just over eleven years and can't
believe how comfortable we are living out here on the Left coast. Oregon is a
paradise for outdoor people, especially during fire season. Still bashing the
drums. Been a bunch more fun since Oregon has begin to allow blood-letting in
a public setting. Haven't heard any new music worth listening to since Van Halen's "1984." I still remember the first time
I heard it over at Godfather's Pizza in the Forum. Or was that
"Dirty Laundry" by Glen Fry? Finally made it to Rolla this
summer after ten+ years. It has changed, but it seems for the better. Rolla
is a nice town, however, didn't fit in then and doubt I would fit in
now. I have some illegal face tattoos that draw too much attention. I wish
to take advantage of this great web space to spread rumors about class
mates. Any good gossip? David James gots a couple
alien babies he keeps under some stairs. Feeds 'em
motor oil. I figure we are going to get old someday, and have to wear
orthopedic socks, take daily enemas and wear diapers. Why wait? With age I
have become a little more timid, ya know. Work

watch out! (updated 9/2006).

past Shawn and I were foster parents, but stopped 3 years ago, too hard when
the children leave, but this spring we took back a former child, who is now
