Richard (class of '90) and I just celebrated our 12 year anniversary (and happily we were together on that day--the Army was unknowingly kind enough to give him r&r during that time period). We have two wonderful children, Rebekah (10) and Jeremy (6). We have built our house here in Rolla out on the "Aaron Farm". I learned a lot with building houses since Richard was deployed to Iraq (where he will be until Feb. 2005) in the middle of the construction process. I teach English at RJH and Richard still teaches up at Linn State Technical College. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at our next reunion! (updated 11/2004)

My husband travels a lot for his job. He works for Citrix as a systems engineer. I am still staying at home with our boys. My oldest son, Devon, is almost 9, a third grader and very active in cub scouts. My other son, Dawson, is 6 and in Kindergarten. He played t-ball this summer and will play flag football this fall. Discovered partying and was pretty wild in the gay "scene" for a few years, then met and moved in with my partner of 17 years, Chad, in 1992. We continued to live in Springfield, MO until 1998 when we moved here with our jobs. I've worked a lot of places in these last few years, but a year ago I got myself sober and have remained so since then, and no I can say with happiness, I look forward to this new chapter in my life! Take care guys, I'd love to hear from any of you who feel like getting in touch. We moved to Kingsville, TX, in July, 2007, when I became the Vice President for Student Affairs at Texas A & M University-Kingsville. I received my Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University, and I am an Associate Professor in Higher Education Administration in the College of Education. I have a research consulting firm with university clients (i.e. University of New Mexico, University of North Dakota, etc.) as well as non-profits such as PBS. I am writing a textbook for Merrill/Prentice Hall, and conduct research toward other publications. My kids are fantastic...really involved in sports, plays, cheerleading/dance, and scouting. Served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho, Southern Africa, from 1995-97. Lived in the Breckenridge area for 8 years, and married Rob Cole from Athens, Georgia, on 6/1/02. We live in a log home Rob built on the edge of the National Forest. No kids, but a great dog that goes backcountry skiing with us. I am working as a graphic designer and we have taken up sailing in the summer. Yes, there are lakes large enough in CO to go sailing--but our plan is to sail the Pacific Ocean in the near future. I've been an Air Traffic Controller for 17 years. Most of my time was spent in Memphis, TN. In 2005, we moved to Houston, TX to get closer to Marty's family. All in all, Houston is a huge step up from Memphis. I really enjoy my job. It has all the excitement I could ever want, but it also has more stress than I could ever want. So I'm probably the only person on earth who's actually looking forward to their 50th birthday. That's the day I become eligible to retire, and I intend to leave the day I hit 50. Twelve years and some change left. Recently moved back to Rolla to further my career with the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a criminal investigator. All but dissolved a law enforcement consulting business due to time and children (definitely worth it) but still instruct for others. I have been competing in a few adventure races, nothing like making yourself feel old, fifty miles later. While working, I'm also pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education Administration at North Carolina State University. In 2005, after 9 years of mostly long-distance dating, I married Karin. We got married in her home town of Turku, Finland in an 800 year old cathedral. David Ridley and Mike Hachmeister were among the guests in attendance, and Mike's dad flew over to play the organ. Still bashing the drums. Been a bunch more fun since Oregon has begin to allow blood-letting in a public setting. Haven't heard any new music worth listening to since Van Halen's "1984." I still remember the first time I heard it over at Godfather's Pizza in the Forum. Or was that "Dirty Laundry" by Glen Fry? Finally made it to Rolla this summer after ten+ years. It has changed, but it seems for the better. Rolla is a nice town, however, didn't fit in then and doubt I would fit in now. I have some illegal face tattoos that draw too much attention. I wish to take advantage of this great web space to spread rumors about class mates. Any good gossip? David James gots a couple alien babies he keeps under some stairs. Feeds 'em motor oil. I figure we are going to get old someday, and have to wear orthopedic socks, take daily enemas and wear diapers. Why wait? With age I have become a little more timid, ya know. Divorced, no kids, & doing tech work for now. Bought myself a Cannondale recumbent so I can cycle again. Plan to start touring again in 2007.
