FlipAlbum 5
is the worlds first 3D page-flipping digital photo album software. This release
has become a favorite of mine, since it is a very easy way to view and manage
all of the photos on my computer.
This is a
fantastic product that has many uses for any owner. If you are a typical user,
and have a collection of family and or business photos, then Flip Album will
make you look like a genius.
It is
simple to move images from the hard drive right
into an album. When the album is viewed,
there is a table of contents that will list the photo’s and also tell you what
page a specific photo is on. And of course there is a viewing of all photo’s as
thumbnails.
It is easy
to enhance your images with the built in effects. You can add 3D effects and
drop shadows to your photos. For that special effect, add and personalize by
using a vast array of picture frames all with the right click of the mouse. For
a real attention getter, you can crop your photos into different shapes and
increase the wow factor.
You can
select a theme that will add a real personal touch, and you can personalize
your front and back covers. You can layout multiple photo’s on any number of
pages, and you can place annotations on them. To make it even better, you can
chose to add MP3 background music to make the presentation more of a standout.
What really
makes this product stand out is the ability to transfer your finished album
onto a CD-R CD disk (you must have a CD- writer to use this feature) then you
can send it to as many people or places that you wish. When the CD arrives the
recipient places it in the CD player on their computer, and the program starts
with music, (if you included it), the sound and image of each page as it turns. This is really special, and very easy to do.
The quality of the presentation is only limited by you imagination and
technique. I really like this product.
There are
several versions available; I have outlined the FlipAlbum 5 suite which is
available for $59.95 and thee is a professional version for $129.95. I would
suggest that you visit the web site www.flipalbum.com
and take a look at the information. You can even download a free trial to help
make your decision (down load both versions and compare) But be forewarned, you
are going to want this if you try it out. It will make you look like a real
professional, and you will get rave reviews. The price is right and the quality
is built in. Check the website to find a local source of the software. I
promise you won’t regret getting this one.
