The purposes of the Optimist club are to develop Optimism as a philosophy of life; to promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs; to inspire respect for law; to promote patriotism and work for international accord and friendship among all people; to aid and encourage the development of youth, in the belief that giving one’s self in service to others will advance the well-being of man, his community and world.  This is accomplished through a series of community projects, fundraisers, and youth programs.

The Rolla Optimist Club relies on volunteers, money generated by fundraisers and donations, and Club members to provide support for the community projects and youth programs we provide.  If you would like to lend any unique skill or just some of your time to the development of Rolla and its youth, please contact the Optimist Club.  If you feel that you don't have the time, please consider a financial donation.
