Definition: The game, SUCK is a modification of the game Half-Life produced by Valve, a subsidary of Sierra Studios. SUCK is a partial conversion of Half-Life as none of the physics of the "world" is changed. SUCK will be offered free of charge with a properly installed, updated version of Half-Life. SUCK is primarily a multi-player game but may also be played using bots. Bots are artificially intelligent agents inside the game that will represent real players but are in actuality computer opponents or team members. SUCK will be released under beta versions for quite a while as the "living" release system. Anyone is of course welcome and encouraged to contribute anything they wish. If an official submission is made to the staff at SUCK a decision will be made by them whether or not to post the material. As of the time being all basic parts of the mod will be group made only. Basic as a definition includes the dll, batch, graphic, sound, official map, model, skin, and all other future material presented in this text at a later date. Storyline: The storyline as of now is null and that it is ludicrous! Basically, four teams composed of the skanks, preps, hicks, and gangsta-wanna-bes are terrorizing the school. Each team is trying to obtain the most hash from a big deposit in the center. Please someone come up with some way better story as this one sucks. Game Objectives: The objective of this game is to either eliminate all the other cultural sects or steal all of the hash from where-ever. (This may include the big stash in the center of the school or private collections on each teams' side.) Of course one may also try to demolish that sect's side thereby excluding it from collecting hash. Class System: The class system is composed of hicks, gangsta-wanna-bes, preps, and skanks. Each have their weaknesses and strengths. The hicks as they can not run fast because of their boots make up for it by having nice sawed off shotguns. The gangsta-wanna-bes likewise have automatic weapons but poor aim as they just care bout getting off their gun. The preps can ran fast but have a limited range of weapons since most of their parents/contacts are liberals ergo, they don't own weapons. The skanks lastly are a lost cause. You might compare them to a zombie in a rpg. They really suck in many people's eyes but others can whip ass with them. Each team is expected to work together to achieve a common goal. Weapons: Weapons depend a lot on which sect one joins. Each group has their own special set of weapons but if a weapon is dropped it may be picked up by another team regardless of whether or not they could buy it at the beginning of their turn. Right now the weapons available for each team include: Skanks=street knife Preps=brass knuckles Hicks=sawed-off shotgun Gangstas'=.375 mag Maps: Maps will be composed of high/jr. schools only. Each will have a huge stash of weed in the most central spot fairly located among each team. There will be four distinct areas "controlled" by each team which may be totally destroyed to obtain one goal of the mod. Not too much on this right yet is available as this is under construction. |
