Cisco

If you haven't heard of Cisco Systems, you soon will. Cisco is the undisputed worldwide leader in network equipment for the Internet. Cisco manufactures routers, switches, access servers, and network management software designed to interconnect LANs and WANs around the globe.

Currently, there is a worldwide shortage of IT professionals, especially those with the skills to configure the high tech equipment designed by Cisco Systems. Recognizing this problem, Cisco partnered with educational institutions around the world to help prepare students to become qualified to build and maintain complex networks. The Cisco Networking Academies Program was launched in October of 1997, and its graduates are the IT professionals who will design, configure, and operate the LANs and WANs of tomorrow.
