FF Systems Products
The FF-800 is a highly sophisticated repeater controller that features multiple link ports, all-digital level controls, built in
autopatch, and much more than can be mentioned here. Take a look at one of the most powerful controller systems available today.
Digital Voice Recorder (DVR)
The FF-8070 is a fully integrated digital voice storage and retrieval system. Up to 100 "system tracks" can be used for custom
ID's, tail messages, or other FF-800 functions. An open mailbox system is also implemented allowing up to 32 open mailbox slots.
The 8070 DVR can record up to 10 minutes of audio and record or play operations
can be done over the air or via telephone.
ICOM IC-901 radio link control interface
The FF-8090 interface allows the FF-800 to fully control the functions of an ICOM IC-901 transceiver. This includes frequency,
hi/low power, offset, memories, and more.
ACC FC-900 radio link control interface
The FF-8900 interface allows the FF-800 to control an ACC FC-900 transceiver stack. This includes frequency, hi/low power,
offset, memories, and more.
HF radio link control interface
The FF-899 interface allows the FF-800 to control the functions of several HF transceiver models. This includes frequency,
modulation mode, antenna azmuth, antenna selection, and more.
The FFLASH option allows FF-800 owners to upload new firmware updates to their controller via their PC. No EPROMs to swap,
just hook up your PC and send. The FF-Remote option allows these updates to be programmed
remotely via modem or TNC for installations "at the edges of the earth".
Codec Audio Delay
The FF-CAD is an audio delay module featuring small size, high fidelity, and variable delay (up to 250 ms). This module can
be used with virtually any repeater controller and is very good at removing squelch noise and DTMF "blips" from receiver audio.
Stand-alone Digital Voice Recorder (DVR)
The FF-8070A is a fully integrated, stand-alone, digital voice storage and retrieval system. It is designed to interface to the
ACC repeater controllers (RC-85, RC-96, and RC-850) but can interface to other systems via its serial data input. Up to 100
"system tracks" can be used for custom ID's, tail messages, or other repeater functions. An open mailbox system is also
implemented allowing up to 32 open mailbox slots. The 8070A DVR can record up to 10 minutes of audio. There are two audio
inputs: Input "A" uses an active low carrier operated squelch (COS) signal to delimit DTMF commands and record operations.
Input "B" does not use COS and can be used for access via telephone (external phone-line interface required).
The FF-Tone is a full featured encode/decode module designed for repeater service
APO Cancel Module
The APO Cancel Module is a retrofit modification to the FF-800 to improve the remote
control patch monitor functionality.
Remote Control I/O Unit
The FF-0.8 is a stand-alone interface that allows DTMF control of up to 8 logic outputs. Its small size and low cost make it
ideal for applications, such as remote receiver sites, that need a simple control interface.
