The Willow Tree
I bow beneath the willow tree.
Her weeping canopy,a veil,
of tiny green teardrops,
envelope my shattered soul.
I bow beneath the willow tree.
Her yielding limbs,
gracefully, faithfully bend.
For her LOVING SAVIOR,
she cradles my weary , wounded heart.
I bow beneath the willow tree.
She whispers of HIS comforts,
on a quiet, gentle breeze.
I bow beneath the willow tree.
Like the willow, I weep.
I seek HIS warmth,
I reach for HIS light.
I yield gracefully,
faithfully, I bend.
I bow beneath the willow tree.
Through the parting of her tender boughs,
HIS light warms my spirit soothes my soul.
On bend of knee,
I bow beneath,
THE WILLOW TREE.
