A little background...
I'm 77 years old (every day of it), born in Oklahoma of English and Choctaw Indian extraction. I am ¼ Choctaw; I'm very proud of my Native American heritage.

A World War II veteran, I spent 2 years and 2 months in the European theater of operations, from November 1943 to discharge in December 1945. M.P. Company - 5th Engineer Special Brigade Amphibious. A D-day survivor of Omaha - Fox - Red beach. Four campaign ribbons, 1 arrowhead, 1 purple heart. French commendation, French Croix de Guerre.
