Spaghetti Pie

 

7 oz. thin vermicelli (cooked and drained)

1 egg

1/2 stick margarine

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 tsp. basil

 

Cut the vermicelli, after cooking, in short pieces and mix with the other ingredients.

 

Put in a 10 inch pie plate, shaping it like a pie crust.  Then layer the following ingredients:

 

1 cup cottage cheese

1 pound ground beef, browned

1 jar spaghetti sauce

 

Then, cover with mozzarella cheese.

 

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
