Good Icing

Erma Jean Haas
1 cup milk
3 T. cornstarch
Salt
Boil and cool. (Erma Jean
does this in the microwave in a 2 cup measuring cup until thick.) Cool in the
refrigerator.
1 cup butter or shortening
(can half)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Beat together and pour the
milk mixture (when cool) over sugar mixture and beat until fluffy. Keep cake
refrigerated.
