Chicken Casserole
1 6-oz can of sliced mushrooms
1 large can of Pet milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Accent
4 cups sliced (coarsely) chicken
1 8-oz. pkg. noodles
1 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
Chicken broth
Drain the mushrooms, reserve liquid. Add chicken broth to liquid to make 2 1/2 cups. Melt 1/4 cup of butter. Blend in salt, pepper and accent. Add milk and chicken broth. Cook until thickened.
Add chicken, mushrooms. Cook noodles as directed on package and mix together. Take remaining 1/4 cup butter and melt. Stir in bread crumbs and put on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 10 or 12 servings.
