Naik honored as RHS Echo "Service Spotlight"
by Maya Isaac
As part of the “Community Service” issue of the ECHO, the Feature Staff decided to honor one student that is always dedicated to many service projects for RHS.
Senior Amee Naik has been involved in a variety of clubs since her sophomore year. She currently serves as Missouri Junior Classical League secretary, Latin Club parliamentarian, National Honor Society member, Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) member and yearbook staff member.
Although Naik spends numerous hours on many different club activities, her work often goes without recognition. For instance, many people have noticed and received the “Happy Birthday” signs that are hung on lockers everyday; Naik designs each of these signs.
“Amee is a wonderful person. She is a very giving person; and when she gives, it truly comes from the heart," commented Ms. Elaine Jones, RAK sponsor.
Naik truly understands the meaning of “random acts of kindness.”
