Mapping Workshops: Usually held the third Wednesday each month, 6-9 PM, at Rolla Technical Institute (10th & Pine Tree Road), Room 137.
The next session will be Wednesday, 19 March 2008. This workshop will be useful to any who need to pay attention to geographic locations for incident management (911 Dispatch, Neighborhood Watch, Law Enforcement, First Responders, etc.) or area jurisdiction familiarity. Attendees will receive a CD of Phelps County Map Data (or relevant county jurisdiction) and free viewing software from the USGS (
http://mcmcweb.er.usgs.gov/drc/dlgv32pro/). Also, instruction and free software to transfer GPS collected data to your computer, as well as "live tracking" on your laptop and track log history.

Proclamation designating the month of September, 2006, as Preparedness Month in the City of Rolla. Thanks to Mayor Jenks and the City of Rolla for their support of the mission of the PCDC.
2006 Citizen Corps Grant Application - The PCDC 2006 Federal (Dept. of Homeland Security) Citizen Corps
grant application was presented to the Phelps County Commission on Tuesday, 21 March 2006. The commission approved our request that they underwrite the grant, and the application has been forwarded to the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency for consideration.
