Meeting Minutes, Tuesday April 10, 2007

Phelps County Courthouse

Present: Buz Harvey, Scott Grahl, Debbie Halinar, John Lackey, Jim Harman, Rick Walls, Jodi Waltman, Dan Babcock, Marshall Creighton, Chuck Pederson, Richard Hashagen, Glenda Mars, Linda Hanrahan

Minutes and Introductions: PCDC Chairman Buz Harvey called the meeting to order at 10:00 am in the general meeting room of the Phelps County Courthouse. Introductions were made and email addresses confirmed. The minutes are available at:

Program Grant Status: Buz reported that Tammy Snodgrass has been making reimbursements. May 15, 2007 is the deadline for any reimbursements.

CERT Training is scheduled for the evening of Thursday April 26th, all Friday April 27th, and all day Saturday April 28th. The next training dates are May 10 – 12, 2007. Buz reported that the Grant money would cover for the advertisement. Scott Grahl (City of Rolla) will also be advertising the training with the local radio stations. Homeland Security Oversight Committee: Paul Rueff reported the next Region I HSOC (Homeland Security Oversight Committee) is scheduled for Thursday April 19, 2007 at 2:00 pm location will be the MRPC building, St. James, Mo.

Medical Reserve Corps: David Duncan reported that the drill exercise is being scheduled.

Neighborhood Watch: Richard Hashagen reported that a wheather shelter is being set up at Camp Brim Shire, St. James, Mo. in the basement of the dining hall.

Medical Reserve Corps: Jodi Walteman reported that a training exercise is scheduled for Friday and Saturday April 27th and 28th at the Rolla Technical Center.

Adjournment and Next Meeting: Paul Rueff moved to adjourn at 11:00 am. The next meeting will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 8, 2007 in the general meeting room at the Phelps County Courthouse. The public is invited to attend.
