Meeting of 21 September 2005 (PCDC Special Closed Meeting) A closed meeting was held to discuss contract proposals from the Meramec Regional Planning Commission to provide technical services to the PCDC, and from the Phelps County Community Partnership to provide technical services to the PCDC to organize a Medical Reserve Corps. Those in attendance were Buz Harvey, Joe Counsil, Jodi Waltman, and Edna Bridges. The conclusion was to ask the PCCP to re-formulate a proposal which is streamlined to implement some of the basics of formation of a Medical Reserve Corps by the end of November. Particularly, the PCCP will be asked to reduce the management costs, and focus on equipment purchases, and providing vetting and training of volunteers.
