  • Meetings are held as needed on the second Tuesday of the month, 10:00 AM, at the Phelps County Courthouse General Meeting Room. The NEXT MEETING will be held Tuesday, 20 October 2009. (NOTE: The meeting date was moved back a week because of the Columbus Day holiday on Monday 12 October 2009.)

The Phelps County Disaster Committee is a Citizen Corps and VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster), consisting of members of the volunteer, public-service, and public-safety agencies in Phelps County, Missouri. Our aim is to improve coordination and cooperation between volunteer and public-safety agencies so that in the event of emergencies and disasters, all personnel, and the public in general, will be better prepared to respond appropriately.
