- Meetings are held AS NEEDED (usually at least four per year), at the Phelps County Courthouse. Please check back here for meeting notices.
The Phelps County Disaster Committee is a Citizen Corps and VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster), consisting of members of the volunteer, public-service, and public-safety agencies in Phelps County, Missouri. Our aim is to improve coordination and cooperation between volunteer and public-safety agencies so that in the event of emergencies and disasters, all personnel, and the public in general, will be better prepared to respond appropriately.
