Take the road less traveled and discover a world of natural beauty at            A LITTLE LOG CABIN IN THE WOODS.  Here a private, modern log guesthouse awaits you, nestled in the woods of the Clear Creek Valley.  Inside you’ll find three comfortably decorated bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and private bath and two (one with a king-size bed and one with a queen-size bed) with a shared bath.  The guesthouse also includes a living room with a queen-size hide-a-bed sofa and fireplace, dining room, kitchen and porch.  A TV and VCR (with a selection of classic and modern movie tapes) are provided.  Outdoors, a picnic area is available, including barbeque facilities and a picnic table with benches.

Amenities also include trails to walk over our privately owned 275 acre area, a restored 1900’s era one-room schoolhouse to tour, birds to watch, fossils to find, and starry-night skies to gaze upon!  Of course, there are a variety of activities to enjoy in nearby Hermann, Missouri, such as touring the wineries, antique shopping, dining at any one of the fine local restaurants, and joining in the celebration of the annual festivals held there.

Golfing is also available at McKittrick, Missouri (near Hermann.)

Guests at A LITTLE LOG CABIN IN THE WOODS are treated to a delicious, gourmet breakfast served at the Log Cabin at the time you decide.  Accomodations will be made to suit special diets, simply let us know!
