The Heritage Boys are a group of men who share the gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Our purpose is, first and foremost, to glorify Jesus Christ through the way we live our lives. Secondly, we hope to share the joy of Christ through the messages in the songs or by testimony. We strongly believe that the Lord has brought us together for this purpose and we strive to fulfill this purpose to the best of our ability. We present our music with a capella, classic and modern southern gospel arrangements of time-honored hymns, old-time classics and more recent favorites. Most of the time we use original sound tracks to ensure high quality accompaniment and not distract from the message of the song. It is not uncommon for us to use just a piano accompaniment to do several favorites like they used to do when southern gospel got its start. Either way, the focus is the message of the song. Group members include: Mark Nash, Mike Morton and Bob Davis. Each member brings a unique talent and personality to the group that supplies an energetic, uplifting sound with an unmistakable gospel message.
Mark Nash sings tenor for the group. Markís genuine compassion for others with his laid back, easy going personality blesses everyone he meets. Markís natural tenor voice provides just the right compliment to complete the groupís powerful harmonies. Mark and his wife Tammy live in Salem, Missouri where they are active in their church and community. Their son Justin, daughter Jessica Parker, son-in-law Matt and new grand-daughter, Oliva also live in Salem, MO.
Mike Morton is once again the lead singer for The Heritage Boys. Some of you may remember Mike as the original Heritage Boys lead singer in the early 1990's. If you haven't had the good fortune to meet Mike then you are in for a treat. Mike's easy sense of humor and sincere Christian attitude is a true blessing. Mike brings a great vocal and ministry contribution as he rejoins the group. Mike, his wife Kelley and daughters Olivia, Sophia and Emelia live in Viburnum, Missouri.
Bob Davis sing baritone and manages The Heritage Boys. Bob grew up singing and playing southern gospel music and it has become a life-long passion. Seeing lives changed, encouraged and challenged in their Christian walk through the ministry of music is the driving factor for The Heritage Boys. Bob and his wife Diane, son Adam and daughter Abigail live in Rolla, Missouri.
The Heritage Boys have performed in churches, large and small, as well as retirement villages, Christian conferences, banquets, youth retreats, & civic events. The Heritage Boys have intertwined their modest Christian upbringing with quality songs and arrangements in a relaxed atmosphere of worship. They want people of all denominations to enjoy good, solid fellowship with their friends and neighbors while listening to the message of Christ.
The Heritage Boys are an exciting group with a sincere desire to serve God through the media of music. The Heritage Boys perform predominantly on the weekends in churches across the mid-west. Occasionally, you may see us at a festival, fair or gospel concert setting. For church services we travel on a freewill offering basis to help offset operating cost. We set our cost for budgeted events based on distance, time of performance and equipment needed. References and demonstrations are available. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
