Rolla's mayor apparently still wants to sell a beautiful park on Route 66. Please help us stop him.



There is a beautiful park in Rolla, Missouri named Buehler Park. Some of the trees date back 130 years. It is named after Dr. Henry Andrew Buehler, Chief Geologist of the Missouri Geological Survey, from 1908 until his death in 1944. "Chief Buehler," as he was affectionately known by the many people who knew and loved him was a nationally recognized figure and a major benefactor of the City of Rolla, Missouri School of Mines (now University of Missouri-Rolla) and the entire state.
The land was deeded to the city in 1958 for $10, to be used "for park purposes and none other, and to be known as
