I arrived at Davidson Fitness Center at 1:00 and there was nobody else there. I couldn't understand this since it was such a nice day with lightening and rain. I didn't really expect anyone but thought a couple of folks might show upand we could settle on some future rides. About the time we decided to leave, Dick Dubroff and Dave Cunningham came into the parking lot. It was amazing, but the rain decided to stop at the same time.

We decide to try a ride, but none of us knew the roads at Ft. Wood. Dick and I thought we remembered where to go for the ride we had taken a couple of times before. We found
out quickly, we were wrong. After 6 miles on the roads we were on, we came upon the stables (nowhere even close to theriver we were trying to find. A mile or so later, we ran out of pavement. So we decided to return to the Center. We got back with just 12 miles under our belts (or on our Bu..s) and decide to ride a little more. this time we stayed in the big square around the practice fields and by the Hospital. We didn't think we could get lost if we kept
Davidson in sight. That worked and we managed to find our way back.

It was a beautiful sunny day by the time we finished and the three of us had a nice ride. See you all next week.

PS Sorry we missed Janet's harmonica this morning.
