• A Team Method to Capture Concurrent Engineering Lessons Learned - Abstract: The merits of concurrent engineering (CE) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) approaches are widely discussed, but little attention has been given to methods that identify areas of difficulties and improve implementation. This article describes a team-based approach to capture, analyze, and deploy lessons learned. The lessons-learned process is described with a process flow diagram and through charts developed in the lessons-learned sessions. Several observations about learning and improving CE and IPTs are given.
