This ornament is not my original design. I got it from a very nice web site: Tat & taT, Wreath. I shuttle-tatted this easy pattern using size 30 thread and irridescent beads. The beads barely show up, and the wreath itself isn't quite 1.5 inchs wide, but it's very delicate looking. Lots of these would be wonderful on a 2ft tree. I made several more using different sizes and colors of thread-- the sky is the limit. I am just beginning to learn the gentle art of tatting, but I can honestly say it's fun and easier than crocheting or knitting.
