This is simply a crocheted ball using the fuzzy yarn. They're like potato chips: you can't just make one! They're fast and easy and look like actual snowballs. I made this pattern up myself, but this is roughly what I did: Using a G hook (or any size you want), chain 4, join to make a ring. Chain 2, 10 tr in ring. Join to 1st tr, sl st, ch 2. Tr around, put 2 tr in every 3 st or so. Keep going until circle is about 2.5" - 4" across. Sc in every st all the way around. Sc in every other st until circle is almost closed. Stuff in a bit of batting, fleece or even tissue (I just used 1/3 of a Kleenex.) Resume sc in every other st until closed. Tie off, leaving a little loop for hanging, if desired.
