Start with a paper mache hexagon or round ornament from the craft store. I painted this one alternating metallic rose and metallic purple. Cut and hot glue 'pine' greenery to each of the hexagon spines, or equidistantly on a round ball. Glue fancy lace or trim on 3 of the sides, and a contrasting one on the other 3 sides. I sprinkled purple glitter to the top area. Some fake snow would make the greenery look better, I think.
