My mother made this paisley-shaped ornament one year. It can be as fancy or plain as you like. From felt or stiffened fabric, cut 3 different colors of paisley shapes, small, medium and large. Use decorative embroidery stitches to sew the layers together, then add sequins, metallic threads, beads, etc to decorate it. A shiny thread would make a good hanger. Be sure to label and date it on the back.
