Welcome To RollaNet!!

1. Announcements:
   • Modems are online!! Six now, three more coming. Connections are limited to one per userid, 4 hour maximum. Please be considerate, and use your connection efficiently.
   • We are now certified by IRS as 501(c)3 tax exempt. All contributions are tax deductible.
   • We have begun to create userids and passwords for Charter Members.
   • There are two forms which every RollaNet member must complete and return to us before a userid and password are created.
     RollaNet Information Form and
     RollaNet User Agreement
     It is possible you have completed the Information Form and not the User Agreement. Please verify this with either Chris Clinton or Arlene Pagano.
   • Complimentary starter software (Windows). As a courtesy to our charter members, in return for your generous support, we will provide access software which you can use to get started with RollaNet. Please note, this software is minimal, and you should consider obtaining better, supported software for the long term. It is reasonably easy to install and will do some automatic configuration to point you to RollaNet services. You are responsible to properly license each software package included.

     Currently, PC Technologies and Midwest Computing are distributing this software at their stores. You can bring your own diskettes, or purchase blank ones at the store.

   • RollaNet User Group - rug@rollanet.org - an electronic mailing group to encourage RollaNet users to discuss usage questions, and generally help each other out.
