When I try to download my email, it seems to "hang" on one message and the rest of my messages won't download. What do I do? Often this problem is caused by an unusually large message in your mailbox. While the system appears to "hang" it is actually downloading the large message. We've seen some messages that are as large as one or two megabytes. You have two options: 1) wait for the message to download entirely, which can take quite some time depending on the size of the message and your modem speed. 2) delete the message using the "WebPOP" utility on the RollaNet Utilities page. Using WebPOP From the RollaNet home page click on the "utilities" button at the top of the menu on the left side of the screen. On the utilities page, click on the "WebPOP - Delete hard to delete mail" link. You will be asked for your userid and password. After the information is verified, you will see a web page with a list of your email which is still on our server, including information about the size of each message. Find the message which appears to be hanging your computer and click "delete" to get rid of it. By the way, you can also use this WebPOP utility to read your email from a computer other than your own without having to configure the email - for example when you're on vacation or visiting someone. Just connect to the web with a browser, go to the RollaNet home page and follow the above instructions. You can read and then delete your email, or leave it on the RollaNet server to be downloaded to your computer when you get home.
