Dixie Union is a bluegrass band made up of four musicians from the Rolla and Cuba, MO area. The band plays mostly original music that incorporates the traditional sound. Band members are:

Dave Richardson - vocals and bass player. He has played bass in country bands for about three years and just recently became interested in bluegrass. When not playing the bass he is an associate professor of civil engineering the the University of Missouri-Rolla.

Tim Donahoe - vocals and mandolin. He has played mandolin and has participated in bluegrass music for about 15 years. Between gigs he is a municipal judge and marketing manager in Cuba, MO.

Chuck Lahr - lead singer and rhythm guitar. He has been involved in country and bluegrass music as a song writer and entertainer for about 30 years. He has written most of the tunes that Dixie Union plays. Between tunes he works as a forestry technician.

Dick Hatfield - banjo. He has played banjo for about 19 years and has played with several local area bands. When resting his picking fingers, he is a writer in the Public Relations Office at the University of Missouri-Rolla.

Marvin and Loraine Bookout make up the team called "The Ecstatic Strings". They will be singing gospel music featuring the hammered dulcimer and auto harp.
