Windows 3.1 or 3.11 Trumpet Winsock Scripts

NOTE: RollaNet does not recommend or support the use of Windows operating systems earlier than Windows 95. The following information is the only assistance we are able to provide for the Windows 3.1 or Windows 3.11 operating systems.

Trumpet Winsock is a dialing program which is commonly used on computers running Windows 3.1 or 3.11.

Trumpet Winsock 2.1 or 2.0 does NOT work with Windows 95. Windows 95 comes with its own winsock.dll file and dialer program. If you are running Windows 95 go to the Windows 95 Configuration for RollaNet Dial-up, and Windows 95 Dial-up Scripting if necessary.

The following three files are the scripts used to make Trumpet connect to RollaNet. Click on the name of the file to view it. You can copy the file to your system by first viewing the file and then picking Save from the File menu of your browser. Make sure you save the script files to the directory where Trumpet is installed.

SETUP.CMD This file configures Trumpet to work with your modem.

LOGIN.CMD This file actually does the dialing and connects you to RollaNet.

BYE.CMD This file hangs up your modem for you.
