I suppose it is an indication that I am growing up. I am suddenly fascinated by my family history. History takes on new meaning when I realize in about the year 1850, people who I am beginning to know, ancestors of my family, are trying to homestead the frontier in Benton County, Arkansas, among other places. Imagine, the home of Wal-Mart, the frontier. It also helps that the whole thing can be computerized. I don't think I would have worked so hard at it on paper. Thanks, Mom & Dad for the software and boxes of family history.
