• Systems Engineering Process (SEP) Handbook - Abstract: This handbook (SSG Handbook 700-10) embodies the systems engineering process (SEP) used by Headquarters Standard Systems Group (SSG) in the acquisition, development and maintenance of software to meet Air Force information mission requirements. The SEP handbook encompasses all the key actions required to maintain an organizationally defined and repeatable process which can be controlled, measured, and improved. The document has its process foundations in the Department of Defense Regulations governing software, the Air Force Instructions for Communications and Computer Systems, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Standard 1074, and the Software Engineering Institute Capability Maturity Model.
