• Cost Analysis Strategy Assessment (CASA) Model - Abstract: The Cost Analysis Strategy Assessment (CASA) model is basically a Life Cycle Cost (LCC) decision aid. CASA version 4.0 is the latest release of this model. CASA is actually a set of analysis tools formulated into one functioning unit. It collects, manipulates and presents as much of the total cost of ownership as the user desires, including RDT&E costs, Production costs, and Operating/Support costs. It contains a number of programs and models which allow you to generate data files, perform life cycle costing, perform sensitivity analysis, perform LCC risk analysis, along with LCC comparisons and summations. The LCC summation function virtually eliminates any limitation on the "size" of a system which can be analyzed. There are a wide variety of preprogrammed output report formats to support the analysis process.
